S+Academy is a Learning & Development platform, designed to respond to the permanent demand for knowledge and skill update. The main purpose is to carry out a continuous program that matches the needs of training and talent development, inspired by new trends, social transformations, and technological innovations.
S+Academy is opened to society, which means that its initiatives are intended not only to S+A workforce but also to a wider public from various industries and backgrounds. Throughout the year, the programming takes the form of Training, Inside Learning, Master Classes, Debates, Conferences and Executive Programs. Ultimately, S+Academy is a meeting point for the creative and disruptive thinking that fuels the culture of innovation at S+A.
S+Academy is committed to overcome sustainability challenges. In this matter, we build interdisciplinary training supplied by specialists – architects, engineers, urban planners, legal and fiscal consultants. The aim is to capitalize on knowledge and practices that, through environmentally friendly solutions, make it possible to move forward in the sustainability of the planet.
S+Academy has the DNA of Saraiva+Associados. It benefits from the expertise of its staff achieved in a wide portfolio of complex and large-scale projects in many geographies. This remarkable experience has made the studio a national leader of international dimension. In this privileged environment, S+Academy brings together trainers with outstanding backgrounds in Architecture, Urban Planning, Sustainability, Landscaping, Project Management, Design, Engineering and Real Estate investment.
S+Academy was born out of my worry with the challenges that Saraiva+Associados professionals face today and in the future. Therefore, we have necessary instruments for training, developing talent and skills that respond effectively to social, economic, and technological challenges.
This Academy provides continuous skill update to S+A’s professionals, and customized training for the young talents that we attract and welcome every year. An internship program, with an effective integration plan, brings functional learning in the multinational and leading environment of S+A. S+Academy also embraces social responsibility, by establishing bridges between academic and professional worlds, by welcoming partners willing to share knowledge with the society. S+Academy pursuit is intended for both internal and external public, being a meeting point for the disruptive thinking that fuels our culture of innovation.

At S+A headquarters, in Lisbon, a 50-seat auditorium was built to host S+Academy events. Integrated in the studio’s atmosphere, it is equipped with digital audio, HD projection and livestreaming. Its multifunctional capacity allows it to be used as a training lab as well as an event lounge that includes a wide and pleasant balcony.
