Introduction
Converting a non-residential complex in Amoreiras into a housing complex, A'Tower represents a milestone in the urban rehabilitation of Lisbon. Maintaining the existing volumetry, the project included the alteration of the structure's programme with the creation of luminous environments, privileging the balance between spatial and functional aesthetics. Ranging from 2-room to 6-room typologies, 24 apartments were created over the 16 floors of the tower. This residential development features an outdoor swimming pool on its roof, a highly favourable location and a wide system of views of both Monsanto Park and the city centre.
