Introduction
The Holiday Inn Hotel is a regeneration project located in one of the most traditional areas of Lisbon, based on the concept of restoring the existing building and reusing its original functional structure, paying attention to the heritage elements that characterise and distinguish it. The historical weight of the building remains alive thanks to the maintenance and regeneration of the existing façade and the restoration of the interior metallic staircase in the lobby.
The building is organised around the traditional spiral staircase, in harmony with the building, fully adapted to accommodate the new features and functionalities. In this way, a fusion of classic and contemporary style was ensured, in which strongly identifiable and distinctly Portuguese lines and elements are associated with the feeling of comfort, serenity and the offer of the best hospitality practices.
