The MDC House, located in the Nova Lima region, is a project developed by Architect Marcelo Montoro, S+A Brazil.
Executed in concrete, it demanded immense care in its implantation, with meticulously calculated views of the surroundings. The project has at its center a considerable water mirror that occupies the main axis of the house. Part of the residence floats on generous overhangs designed to preserve the magnificent rocky outcrops and typical vegetation. Lath textures were used in the exposed concrete, black stones and noble Brazilian woods.
The main opening of the house frames the cinematic view of the Sierra de Gandera National Park, with the beautiful horizon in front.
