Nooba

NOOBA is a residential project located in Barreiro – a city on the south bank of river Tagus – that takes advantage of the pristine views of the waterfront and its adjacent park. The project comprises a total of 518 apartments with private balconies, sharing a terrace with a swimming pool and a panoramic jogging track. S+A design strategy was inspired by the geography of the place, developing an harmonious dialogue between the surrounding landscape and the river. The palette include glass, iron and concrete to grant high quality and a unique timeless character to the buildings. Developing a cosmopolitan language with the existing landscape involved high standards of sustainability to achieve comfort that reflects the new trends in the residential market.
