This project proposes the rehabilitation/expansion of the old Quinta das Laranjeiras, which dates back to the 18th century, an expansion of one floor, with the purpose of taking advantage of the attic waters. As for the programme and its new use, we can say that it aims to adapt to contemporary lifestyles, always respecting the original palatial spirit and image of the old Quinta das Laranjeiras. In this context, 15 fractions have resulted, with typologies ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms. It is worth mentioning that the palatial image of one of the buildings is kept according to the original. The intervention in the exterior spaces is in accordance with the general principle of the proposal, to preserve the spirit of all the green spaces, preserving all the noble area of the existing garden.
