S+Academy Lab: newspaper #1

The S+Academy Lab journal is out. A summary of the exceptional research and critical analysis developed by the 2024/25 Internship Program Architects at S+A. With the mentorship of Paulo Reis Silva, S+A Architect and Senior Partner, it is the result of an exploratory search for knowledge, trends, and technological innovations, in the field of architecture and urban design, with an impact on sustainability.

In this printed piece, you will find articles on subjects that challenge architecture to observe a variety of environmental dimensions. The first issue of the newspaper features articles by our former interns Duarte Gonçalves, Catarina Niza, Daniela Almeida, Emília Egle, Luís Madeira, and Miguel Frias Coutinho – some of whom are now part of S+A’s junior architect team.
