The project consists of the full renovation of an old office building, with a view to transforming it into a four-star accommodation establishment. With an architectural language based on strict methodological precision, the main façade was designed in the form of a regular square grid made up of large glass panels framed in a metal structure. The panoramic windows provide exceptional views over the city, providing a real sense of the cosmopolitan life of Lisbon, while also taking advantage of the natural light. The project includes 56 rooms of varied typology, each with their own unique identity.

Composed of eight floors above ground – to which a further floor was added, in the loft, as well as a floor below street level – the new hotel takes full advantage of its subtle dimensions and is perfectly integrated into its surroundings. The centrepiece of the building is hidden, however, in its interior. The existing patio served as the basic premise of the interior design concept: an enormous oxygen bubble set in copper, with a warm, refined and elegant tone, which invites people to enter and discover an alternative universe right in the heart of the city.
